To succeed in affiliate marketing, you must have the "I'm a winner" mindset. The "I'm a winner" mindset will give you the strength to face challenges, setbacks, and distractions. The "I'm a winner" mindset will fuel your unwavering desire to keep on working, pushing, grinding, and competing.

The "I'm a winner" mindset is the core of a successful entrepreneur. It is the core of the competitive athlete.

During the playing of the Super Bowl, the "I'm a winner" mindset was on full display by all of the players. In fact, it's on full display every time there's an NFL game. That's because a player can't make it in the NFL unless he believes in his heart and soul that he's a winner. A football player who doesn't have the "I'm a winner" mindset will get chewed up and spit out quicker than quick regardless of what level he's playing.

Consider these facts. There are 32 NFL teams, and each team has 67 players (55 on the roster, 12 on the practice squad). That's a grand total of 2,144 NFL players who are getting a paycheck.

Of those 2,144 players, approximately 1,206 of them (56%) were on teams that didn't go to the playoffs. For these 1,206 players, their season ended after the last game of the regular season.

Of the NFL's 2,144 total players, approximately 938 of them (44%) were on the 14 teams that made the playoffs. Of those 938 playoff players, approximately 871 were on the 13 teams that ended their season with a loss.

Of the 938 NFL players who were on the 14 playoff teams, only 67 of those players ended their season as winners. Those 67 players are those who play for the Super Bowl winning Los Angeles Rams.

Those 67 players on the Rams represent only 3% of the NFL's 2,144 players.

Winners & Losers

Sports fans often times think of teams and players and athletes as "winners & losers". That's the way it is with competitive sports. Whether it's football, golf, figure skating, volleyball, or swimming, someone wins and someone loses. The men and women who play sports at the highest levels all have a winner's mindset. They play their sport to win.

Regardless of how their team's season ended, not a single one of the NFL's 2,144 players has a loser's mindset. You can't get an NFL paycheck without a strong winner's mindset. Every one of those 2,144 NFL players, throughout his entire football career – little league, junior high, high school, college, and the NFL – has experienced losses, injuries, setbacks, challenges, distractions and more. Yet these players keep on keeping on. They keep working, pushing, grinding, and competing.
