Embrace the word "SELF"

Virtually all top-performing athletes think they give 100%. But they're not being honest with themselves. The fact is that they don't give 100%. They need a coach to get them to give more.

But not all coaches can do it. Not all coaches have what it takes to get athletes to give more.

It's the great coach who has the ability to get the athlete to understand and accept the notion that they need to raise their "level of expectation".

It's the great coach who has the ability to reach deep down inside the athlete and get them to "give a whole lot more" than they think they can give.

The same thing happens in affiliate marketing. Virtually all affiliate marketers think they give 100%, but 95%+ of them are not being honest with themselves. The fact is that they don't give 100%. They don’t give anywhere near 100%.

But the problem is that affiliate marketers or network marketers don't have a personal coach as does the athlete. The affiliate marketer doesn't have a personal coach who spends 2-5 hours a day with them, as does the athlete. Well not in the beginning of their journey.

This is why each and every success-seeking affiliate marketer or network marketer must embrace the word "SELF".

The affiliate marketer must be 100% self-determined.

The affiliate marketer must be 100% self-motivated.

The affiliate marketer must be 100% self-responsible.

And the affiliate marketer must be 100% self-functional.

I've seen way too many affiliate marketers who are in a state of perpetually "looking around" for some person – any person – to make them determined, motivated, responsible, and functional. But that's not going to happen. There is no such person. It's not your sponsor. It's not your upline. It's not a "heavy hitter" in the company. It's not the company owner. It's all on the affiliate marketer or network marketer to be their own coach and choose to raise their level of expectation so that they give more, do more, and accomplish more.

It's not easy to do. Because if it was easy, then everyone would do it. But it's easier than most people know because all it takes is for a person to be brutally honest with where they are at, where they want to be, and what it will take to get there. From there it's all about making good choices, being responsible, being disciplined, and having a really good work ethic.
